October 2011 >>>
Dear world, I love my wife SOOOOOOO much! She is a babe. Totaly awesome too! Recently she has let me know that it is time to get back into skateboarding. It always seems to be in the fall here in Utah when the weather starts getting cold... just when you start to miss the warm days, you start wanting to make the most of it outdoors. Well, I totally agree with her and also want to get back in the swing of things!
Looks like I'll have to start doing some yoga or stretching more.. because I'm still a little sore from skating last week!
September 2011 >>>
This weekend me and the wifey came down to Los Angeles to visit the Yo Gabba Gabba Filming studios, super rad, super fun as always. We are getting to work on an episode for season 4, so we came down to get excited and get inspired. So far things have been going great and it was just what we needed. Especially after finishing a big project.. time to move on to another. So tonight we went for a visit over to Mr. Joel Fox's for a lil' bit of birthday celebration and craft makin. If you have ever seen the kid's show, Joel is in charge of the rad special effects, as well as the segment between segments where kids ride along the screen on mashup-toys. So we worked on some of those. Good times, good times.
Happy Birthday Joel Fox!
p.s. you can read up on Joels psychadelic adventures on his web bloggins >> http://joeldepartment.com/
One more day of installing the signs and some gold leafing left til this project is all done! (for now..)
This week was full of conquering gigantic tasks.. My Mom ran her first marathon at age 54, which was incredible! As for me, I conquered the beast of a sign that has been being procrasticnated for many weeks now. Finally on thursday I settled it and went full fleged all day long.. and thankfully it turned out great! Here are some shots of it and a little time lapse I put together of the project >>

Bubble Gum Pop!
~ in refrence to the teen-bop culture phenomenon.. Sam, owner of Sammy's has 3, soon to be 4 girls.. and I am guessing that he is eventually going to get over his love for teen pop culture when his girls become teenagers.. I can't wait to see Sam as a dad of 4 teenage girls..!
